Rest in Peace, Yoriko
It is with much sadness a dear friend has become our angel...Yoriko passed away peacefully today. She fought a very long and courageous fight against cancer. Many doctors gave her "long shot odds" and she defied each and everyone of them...and left on her own terms, very much like she lived the rest of her life :) We have had so many adventures in the past 10 years together as girls, as moms, as families... I chose these specific pictures to share because it truly captured how she was in our hearts. We were staying in the City with Mark because he had another tradeshow (many of which Yoriko attended in the past with him) and she took the Caltrain up to spend the afternoon with us. It was a beautiful day, even on the beach! We had lunch at the Cliff House, then spent some time on the sand just talking while the kids played, then she "saved" Maddie from a crashing wave :) I just distinctly remember how we shared some heartwarming and insightful stuff in our chat, and how the kids just loved her attention!
She truly was an amazing person in so many ways to so many people...
