New Bikes

In a bid to get fit(ter?), Mark got a new bike and took it out for his first ride. The kids of course had to tag along part of the way, but Daddy made it 4 miles in 30 min!

This is momentous for us because even with Mommy's "raised voice" and "coaxing," we seem to have a hard time getting out of house without rushing to make it on time...First AND ONLY ONE!

Boo definitely follows directions well (at least from his teachers!) because he remembered his sunglasses and sunblock and hat for Field Day at his school. They were going to be spending most of the day outdoors so he was prepared!

Bike to Work/School Day

This is what happens when they love the News: they heard/read on the news about Bike to Work/School day so they decided we needed to bike to school. Mommy ran alongside to help out, but super proud of them: Maddie rode 2 miles RT, Boo did 4 miles that day! :)

Yeah, so the kids decided they needed to post a "do not draw" sign on our wall..."Mommy, do you think it would have been better if we drew it on paper and taped it to the wall instead?"

I guess the silver lining is they know what the "Circle with a line across it" means???
