After arriving safe and sound (10 hrs NON STOP flying!), the kids were super hyper and had to get yelled at before they dozed off in car...until we arrived at our hotel...but since it was only 11am, we couldn't check in, so we did a quick tour of Dublin. Actually, it was to give Mark practice since he had to not only maneuver a stick shift on the wrong side of the road, but learning to pick up GPS directions, roundabouts and Gaelic Irish street names in the process :)
We toured Dublin Castle (original name huh?) and surrounding gardens, etc. We probably toured the same streets about 10 times at one point as well with one ways and streets that were closed due to construction and GPS lady kept telling us "re-routing"...and almost forgot: the kids thought it was totally awesome the windows in the rental were "roll up" vs power. Go figure!
